About
About Walnut Creek Heat Pumps
Walnut Creek Heat Pumps is an independent local resource on heat pumps, mini-splits and heat pump water heaters for homeowners in Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Danville, Orinda and nearby cities.
What we do
We publish dated, sourced information on costs, rebates and the rules that apply to heat pump projects here: the Bay Area Air District's appliance standards, California's Title 24 duct testing, EPA's refrigerant transition and city permits. When you're ready, you can call or send a request and we pass it to an independent HVAC contractor serving your area.
How we're paid
Walnut Creek Heat Pumps is an independent website that connects homeowners with local HVAC contractors. We are not a contractor; contractors may pay us for project requests. We don't install equipment, and contractors set their own prices and terms. Verify any license at cslb.ca.gov.
How we keep information current
Rebate and rule statements carry an "as of" date and link to the official source. We review the rebate table quarterly and the gas appliance rules guide after BAAQMD actions. We're not affiliated with MCE, PG&E, BAAQMD, BayREN or any government agency.
